LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Two people are behind bars after a low-speed chase in central Lubbock.
Police say 31-year-old Eugene Rivas Jr. drove off after officers tried to stop him for speeding Sunday afternoon in the 1900 block of Avenue Q.
He drove to a relative's home nearby, where police say he was tased for not following commands.
He was then arrested for speeding and evading arrest. Police also arrested a relative, 35-year-old Veronica Vasquez, who grabbed officers during Rivas' arrest.
