Guilty plea in aggravated sexual assault case

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD)- A Lubbock man is headed to prison for more than three decades for the rape of his 11-year-old neighbor.

Francisco Rodriguez pleaded guilty Monday to aggravated sexual assault of a child. Police say that Rodriguez attacked the girl at her home in the 2900 hundred block of East Baylor in July of last year.

Rodriguez was sentenced Tuesday to 35 years in prison.
