First freeze hits Lubbock


LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD)- The first official freeze for Lubbock was recorded at 2:45 this morning, registering 32 degrees.

This morning conditions are clear with areas of frost. For the afternoon skies will be sunny, windy, and temperatures are expected to be warmer. Tonight expect fair conditions and temperatures will not be as cold.

Wednesday the forecast will be partly cloudy, very windy and temperatures will be warm. As the sun sets there is a chance of thunderstorms.

Thursday there is a chance of scattered rain showers and cold temperatures.
