Another South Plains dealership loses GM brand

Posted:

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Another South Plains car dealership loses the right to sell new GM cars.

The Stanley Brownfield Motorplex shut down its Chevy dealership on Tuesday.

Most employees were moved to the company's Ford division, but a few had to be let go. This is the second blow to the Stanley Auto Group.  They lost their Chrysler brand back in May.

Just recently, the Smith South Plains Ford dealership in Slaton lost its affiliation, and will have to reopen either with used cars or with another brand.
