LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - In a press release from Texas Farm Bureau, a news conference for discussion on Proposition 11 by Farm Bureau President Kenneth Dierschke and Texas Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples was held Wednesday morning.

Proposition 11 is on the November 3rd ballot. It prevents the taking of property via eminent domain for economic development purposes.

Texas Farm Bureau supports Proposition 11 to prevent eminent domain takings for the benefit of other private entities or to collect higher tax revenue.
