One of the Texas top ten most wanted arrested

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Texas Top 10 Most Wanted criminal is now in custody in Brownsville, Texas.

Dennis Wayne Capps, who had been on the Texas Top 10 Most Wanted list since March 2009, was arrested in Nicaragua by U.S. Marshals on October 22nd after an investigation by Texas DPS agents determined that he was there. He was deported from Nicaragua on October 24th and was taken to the Cameron County Jail in Brownsville, Texas, on October 27th.

Capps posted a $100,000 bond in connection with the June 10, 2006 murder of a 44-year-old man during a robbery. Capps faces a capital murder charge in Cameron County.
