LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) & (KLTV) - It's the fast easy way to mend, hem and repair...bonds to virtually any fabric. The bottle calls it a "permanent bonding agent." The instructions say it's permanent, until you dry clean something you've put it on. However, it's machine washable.
We tested an oven mitt with a nice rip down the seam. Mighty Mend-It should be perfect for this. After a generous portion along the seam we press and we're done. Despite the strong aroma, it's ok if you get Mighty Mend-It on your hands. It just rolls right off, kind of like rubber cement. After two hours of drying, the mitt stayed together nicely. It is probably as strong or stronger now than the original seam
Then we work on the hem of a pink bag, simply line the hem, press and wait. It didn't bleed through the other side. This hem stayed on nicely as well.
We had good luck with this product and we give the Mighty Mend-It a "yes".
