South Plains woman dies from H1N1 complications

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A South Plains woman died Wednesday night after complications from the H1N1 virus.

H1N1 was not the official cause of death, instead we have been told it was pneumonia.  Prior to her diagnosis with H1N1 she was a healthy woman, approximately 37-years-old.

NewsChannel 11 has the name of the victim, however, her family has asked us to respect her privacy. She lived approximately 51 miles outside of Lubbock.
