Car Inspections Increased At LIA

Random vehicle inspections began Thursday at the Lubbock International Airport. As part of the increased terror alert, two guards will be stationed along Airport Drive to inspect vehicles approaching the airport.

Airport Director Mark Earle says the inspections are intended to be fast, and non-invasive. He also says the checks will continue as long as the terror alert is at the orange level.

    More tickets have just been released for all shows of the Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood at the Lubbock United Supermarkets arena. There are five performances Thursday, March 30 through Sunday, April 2. There is an eight-ticket limit per customer.
