LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The City of Lubbock has promised a big announcement on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m.
Officials will not say what the announcement will be, however, NewsChannel 11 has looked into public records and the City Council has a special session scheduled.
The agenda says, "The City Council will participate in discussions regarding electric distribution." The Mayor would not give out any details but he did assure us that this is a good news announcement, not anything bad.
One person asked, who asked to remain unnamed, tells NewsChannel 11 that this announcement could be the biggest announcement for Lubbock since the Creation of Texas Tech.
