Three more plead out in major Levelland drug bust

By James Clark | email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Three more defendants admit guilt in the same drug bust that netted two former Hockley County Sheriff's Deputies. The latest to plead guilty are Charity Bell Barron, Teddy Ralph Johnson, and Hector Ramos.  They'll be sentenced at a later date.

Their plea bargains are in addition to six other defendants who have pleaded guilty in recent weeks. Nearly all 28 defendants were arrested July 10th in Levelland including former Chief Deputy Gordon Bohannon and former Deputy Jesse Quintanilla.  Bohannon and Quintanilla have not yet pleaded guilty but court records indicate they will take plea bargains.
