LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – New study demonstrates just how distracted a person can be when they're using a cell phone while driving. Researchers at Western Washington University had a student wear a clown costume and riding a unicycle by the street and it seems like that would be a hard thing to miss.

However, when they asked passers-by if they had noticed anything unusual, more than half of those walking by with a friend said they saw the clown, but of those talking on a cell phone while driving by the clown on a  unicycle, 92% said they didn't notice.
