Israeli judge rules in favor of Brownfield father in custody dispute

Posted:

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Brownfield boy living in Israel could soon be reunited with his father.

Jason Hook says his ex-wife, Tori Hill, took their son, Gideon, to Israel, just five days before a custody hearing in Lubbock.

Since she failed to appear, the judge gave Hook temporary sole custody. Hook flew to Israel last month to present his case to an Israeli judge.

Hook says the judge ruled in his favor on Tuesday and ordered that Gideon be returned to his father.

Ms. Hill has seven days to appeal the ruling.
