Accused Con-Man in Dickens County Jail

In a NewsChannel 11 Investigative Follow-Up, Jonathan Blount, the man accused of conning Lubbock people out of their money is now behind bars. Blount was the owner of 'Peoples Dream', a low-income housing loan company in Lubbock. Authorities tell NewsChannel 11 Blount was on federal supervised release for bank fraud and false statement and acquisition of a firearm. Blount violated his probation when he moved to Lubbock. He is now facing up to five years in a Dickens County Jail for that. But Blount may face additional jail time for theft here in Lubbock.

Since our story on 'People's Dream', aired Tuesday night NewsChannel 11 has received several phone calls from more of his victims. If you are a victim and you need some help. Call Paulina Jocobo at (806) 472-7351.
