LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Thanksgiving starts the busiest shopping season of the year and the day after Thanksgiving is known as Black Friday, a day when bargains lure the early shoppers and hopefully turn merchant red ink to black.

Black Friday sales used to be heavily guarded secrets. In this internet age, the word leaks out early and checking a few strategic websites will help you plot out a money saving Black Friday adventure.

Black Friday Info is a website that has the early copies of all the Black Friday ads from the major retailers and has posted them early.

On this site you can click a box and compile a shopping list or head over to the coupon link and see keepcash.com, a site that maintains a huge list of discount coupons and coupon codes you can use to save money.

Black Friday 2009 is another site offering early insight on the best deals. They offer lots of updated information on hot selling products priced aggressively as well as rumors on yet to be announced sales, like the reported big deals coming on Ipods from Apple.

There is another site called Deal News.com that gives you a list of the hottest deals of the day with printable coupons and the pre-Black Friday deals.
