Army Jumpers deliver game ball

Posted:

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -Tech fans got an extra treat at the game Saturday. U.S. Army jumpers made quite an entrance as they parachuted into Jones AT&T Stadium from a plane to deliver the game ball. They also jumped with an American flag and a Texas Tech flag into the stadium of cheering fans.

"It's amazing. It's a thrill. You get down low, you start hearing the crowd cheering, and you get your adrenaline pumping a little more than what it already is because you just jumped out of a plane. It's fun, "said Sgt. Michael Stalker.

Getting the Army jumpers was about a year long process.
