Last week NewsChannel 11 told you how the company that monitors Lubbock International Airport's parking had broken several contract agreements with the city. But Thursday, the Airport Board decided it wanted that company, APCOA, to continue it's work.
APCOA is in charge of collecting parking fees at the airport. A city audit revealed the company had not kept track of the number of people parking and didn't provide annual audits to the city council.
In spite of that, the airport board said it will recommend to the council that APCOA continue at LIA until they can find another company. That recommendation will come at the March 6th City Council meeting.
