LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The city will soon accept bids on the $40 million Phase One of the Lake Alan Henry pipeline. The city has put Lake Alan Henry on a fast track, with a 2012 deadline, because of Lake Meredith.
Meredith used to be more than half of the city's water supply. Now it's 15 percent or less, and Meredith lake levels are near record lows. Bids are due in mid December.
