LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -A Lubbock man is stabbed Sunday afternoon, once in the arm and once in the chest. It happened about 4 PM in the 2600 block of Ivory.
Police say Vernon Williams was at a party and began to argue with another man. Police say Williams rushed toward the other man who had a knife. At first Williams refused help and left the party. Police later found him at a residence in the 2200 block of 27th.
Williams suffered serious injuries and needed surgery at University Medical Center. Police have not located the other man.
