Every year, residents in the Tech Terrace neighborhood worry that they've become targets of burglars who mark the back of their fences with blue dots.
Tonight, we will show you that residents have nothing to worry about.
Lubbock Police say there's no correlation between robberies in the area and the blue dot, and LP&L has admitted they're the ones behind the spray painted dots.
LP&L says that they use these dots to mark the meters.
