That sense of being overwhelmed made the shyer workers feel more fatigued than their extroverted colleagues. The researchers also found that mental exhaustion and physical exhaustion are linked, and that you can't have one without the other.
Though advised to quit, a surprising number of people with chronic health conditions continue to smoke. The agency for healthcare research and quality collected information on health care quality and satisfaction. They found that over a third of emphysema patients, a quarter of asthmatis and a fifth of people with high blood pressure, cardiac problems or diabetes continued to smoke.
