LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – A study published in the American Journal of Hypertension says if students can learn to keep their stress and blood pressure in check while they're young, they can help prevent heart attacks and strokes later in life.
Researchers found that if students mix meditation along with homework time, they can become happier and healthier. This particular study looked at more than 150 students considered at risk for developing hypertension, and found that meditation lowered their stress levels significantly.
