LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Trade in the high speed rush of shoppers at stores, for high speed Internet shopping in the convenience of your own home. As Black Friday comes to an end, Cyber Monday is only a couple of days away.
For those who don't like the Black Friday crowds, Cyber Monday takes the hassle out of holiday shopping.
"I did it last year because I don't get out real, real early in the morning on Friday. I miss a lot of the good sales," said Cyber Monday shopper Lissette Cowger.
From deals on computers and electronics to free shipping and coupons, there are cyber specials from big retail stores like Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and Target. There are hundreds of deals to browse through on Cyber Monday, the online version of Black Friday, but without the lines.
"Many times you can find on Monday on the internet you can find the same deals," said Cowger.
Many people didn't know about Cyber Monday, but quickly changed their minds about joining the rush of people at the stores.
"Yes I would because I hate going through all this mess," said Black Friday shopper Trisha Cortinger who had been shopping since 4:30 this morning.
"The crowds here are pretty insane so doing some online shopping really saves sometimes," said Black Friday shopper Carson Baskin.
No matter which way you choose to shop, there are still great deals you and your family can cash in on.
"Whether it is black Friday or cyber Monday, shoppers are looking for good deals," EBay Marketplaces President Lorrie Norrington.
