LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The man who sued a Lubbock Police Officer after a tasing incident might be a day late and a dollar short.
L.J. McCallan lost his lawsuit against Officer Marsh Blackmore and the Lubbock Police Department.
Last week, he asked permission to forego the court costs in filing his appeal. The judge pointed out his appeal notice was due on November 19th, so McCallan's request is denied.
The judge also implied that McCallan would not be able to go forward with an appeal, even if he were to pay the normal filing fees.
