LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Charges have been filed after a huge business fire that happened in September.
The Dollar General and other businesses in the Melonie Square shopping center was on fire in the early morning hours of September 12th.
Gregory Samuel Rodriguez, 18, has been charged by the Fire Marshal's Office with third degree arson instead of first degree arson because they believe Rodriguez' behavior was more careless than intentional.
The fire caused an estimated $1.3 million of damage.
