No official ruling on death of man found in truck

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - NewsChannel 11 has learned that we might expect an official ruling on the death of Paul Allen Brown, 48, on December 15th.

Brown's body was found in the front seat of his pickup truck November 18th.

The truck was parked at a Southwest Lubbock apartment complex called the Boulders At Lakeridge.

At this time, Brown's death is officially listed as undetermined but police have treated it as a homicide case.

Lubbock County Medical Examiner Sridhar Natarajan tells NewsChannel 11 that more tissue sample observations and more tests must be done.

Dr. Natarjan says we can tentatively expect an official ruling on the manner of Brown's death on December 15th.

Manner of death is not the same as the cause of death.

Manner of death can be homicide, suicide, natural or accidental.
