Two 18-wheelers collide early Friday morning

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A truck driver is recovering following a Friday morning collision in southeast Lubbock.

Police say that two 18-wheelers collided around 1:25 a.m. on Friday at the intersection of Slaton Highway and MLK.

The driver of the blue semi was trapped inside after the cab collapsed around him. Incredibly, he suffered only minor injuries.

The driver of the other semi was not injured.
