Evaluating Those Who Received Smallpox Vaccination

Lubbock healthcare workers on being evaluated one week after receiving the smallpox vaccination. On Tuesday the City of Lubbock's Health Department is following up with everyone who received the shot. The "take" evaluation involves examination of the vaccine site to determine if the shot was effective, or if the subject requires revaccination.

Fortunately, everyone passed the evaluation in good health. bio terrorism expert with the Lubbock Health Department, Ken Condon says they will continue to monitor the people who were vaccinated.

In about a month, the health department will begin phase two, which includes, Lubbock Police, Fire, and EMS.
