Man Arrested for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child

Lubbock Police arrested a man Tuesday on charges of aggravated sexual assault. Police say 45-year-old Joel Alaniz molested a young girl. According to a police report the girl's mother claims she witnessed the assault.

A bond hearing was set for Tuesday afternoon.
