No Need to Panic at Tech

An alarming sound will resonate from the Texas Tech Campus Wednesday, but officials say there will be no need to panic. Texas Tech Police, and Environmental, Health, and Safety Officials conduct the test each year just before severe weather season. The first test will be Wednesday at 10 a.m., and the second will be Thursday at 11 a.m.

The sirens are used to warn people to seek shelter in times of emergency.
