L.I.S.D. holds H1N1 Clinic

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -The doors of Cavozos Jr. High opened early Saturday morning, and in 1 hour L.I.S.D in conjunction with the City of Lubbock Health Department had already vaccinated 400 students. The two groups teamed up to host a free clinic to vaccinate around 600 students.

Sandy Fortenberry with the Lubbock Heath Department says even if you have had H1N1 you should still get vaccinated "There may be a third wave come in the spring. So anything that people can do to protect themselves and their children is very important."

L.I.S.D. will host another clinic January 9th for students under age 10 that will need a second dose of the vaccine.
