Rumors of schedule changes at LISD premature

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock ISD is trying to put some rumors to rest after talk that staggered start times, open high school campus for lunch, and certain elective courses would all be done away with.  Lubbock ISD is obligated under state law to examine all of those issues once a year.

However, there is no organized campaign to get rid of them. If any changes are proposed LISD tells NewsChannel 11 that it will inform parents in January with final decisions coming in February.

It is possible that no changes will be made.
