LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - United Supermarkets wrapped its Pinktober celebration with a donation to the Komen Foundation. October is breast cancer awareness month, at which time customers could buy certainly specially marked products to support Komen.
United announced the donation of $69,439 on Friday. That money will be distributed four Komen affiliates with the Lubbock office receiving $32,392; Amarillo, $17,140; North Texas, $10,955; and Wichita Falls, $8,952.
