Fleming Seeks $1.4 Billion from Kmart for Voided Contract

Lewisville based Fleming Companies has filed a $1.4 billion claim in Kmart's bankruptcy case.

Fleming was Kmart's primary grocery supplier, until Kmart prematurely ended its 10-year contract with Fleming last month. As a result, Fleming announced it was shutting down its Lubbock wholesale distribution center.

Now Fleming is seeking payment for lost profits.
