Fund set up for family whose home was lost in fire

NEW DEAL, TX (KCBD) - The community is rallying around a North Lubbock County family after a fire destroyed their home.

Their house in the 3200 block of County Road 5830 burned Tuesday afternoon. The cause is still undetermined, but it was a total loss. The family is now faced with no home for the holidays, but local residents have offered them clothes, and necessities.

If you'd like to help, donations to their "Love Fund" are being accepted at First State Bank of Abernathy.
