LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – Finally, the CDC says the supply of the H1N1 vaccine is meeting demand. By the end of this week, the government says we'll have 100 million doses available across the country, now the hard part is convincing people it will be worth the effort.
"It's easy to say, 'it's over, cases are going down, we're tired of the story, time to move on. But actually we don't know what the future will hold," said Dr. Thomas Frieden, Director of the CDC.
The CDC officials say they're concerned that a third wave of the flu is very possible, particularly after families travel and gather in close quarters for the holidays.
