Concrete batch plant draws protests

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – Protesters will hold a news conference Monday night to show their opposition to a proposed concrete batch plant in East Lubbock.  The Highland Concrete Company proposes a plant in the 400 block of North Avenue K. 

Opponents provided photographs of the area and say water runoff will pollute the Canyon Lake System.
