Local lawmakers get 'A' on legislative report card

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – It's not just boys and girls that Santa is watching over. On Monday, he announced legislative "naughty and nice" list based on the 2009 Texas Legislative report card.

Lubbock representatives Carl Isett and Delwin Jones were among the only 48 legislators who earned an 'A' and a spot on Santa's 'nice' list. Lawmakers who received A's on the report card voted in a manner which relates to the Americans for Prosperity mission statement, which promotes individual liberty, and lower taxes.
