LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Holiday travelers didn't have much luck Thursday as snow covered the streets of Lubbock. Since 10 p.m.  Lubbock Police say there already has been 159 accidents. Out of those, 13 had injuries, but none were considered serious. In addition to that, LPD says almost 200 vehicles were stranded across town.

For those flying all flights leaving Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport were canceled. However two flights did make it into town. On Christmas Day, all flights leaving Preston Smith International are set to be on time, but two flights coming in from Dallas-Fort Worth have already been canceled.
