LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD)- This morning snow sill be spreading across the South Plains from southwest to northeast. Cloudy skies are expected with light winds and cold temperatures. This afternoon snow is likely; with 1 to 2 inches of accumulation and isolated heavier amounts. Icy, snow- packed roads are possible. Tonight the snow will end, but skies will remain cloudy.
Icy, snow-packed roads are possible Wednesday along with partly cloudy skies and winds. New Year's Eve will have cloudy skies, cold temperatures, with a few snow flurries possible as 2009 draws to a close.
