Fans support Leach across the state

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Support for former Texas Tech Head Football Coach Mike Leach showed up across the state Saturday.  In San Antonio, folks opening the sports page in the San Antonio Express-News found a large advertisement purchased by Leach supporters.

It reads, "Thank you Mike Leach for ten great years". Later on, supporters took their messages to the skies. Two planes circled San Antonio Saturday afternoon pulling two banners. One read "Thanks for the alleged investigation, Tech". The other read "Good Luck Mike Leach".

Here at home, supporters hit the streets. We caught up with Coleman Maxwell and other supporters selling Team Leach shirts at south Loop 289 and Slide Road Saturday afternoon.

"We had over 1,000 shirts, but we're running out. We're probably down to two boxes which are the small and mediums, but they're on their way; we've got some more coming," Coleman said.  He says as a Tech student, it's good to see all the community support.
