LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – As we keep our houses closed up to fight cold weather; there are other indoor allergies that are common this time of year.
Cigarette smoke, pet dander and a lot of dust are just some of the big triggers of indoor allergies, along with household cleaners. Experts at Cornell Medical Center offer these tips; be sure to turn on the exhaust fan in the bathroom when you shower and in the kitchen when you cook, because that will help keep the humidity low, since mold and dust mites thrive on moisture.
