LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - NewsChannel 11 was at the Texas Tech Athletic Department when Tommy Tuberville, a candidate for Texas Tech head football coach and former Auburn coach, arrived to get ready for his interview.
Tuberville is expected to meet with Tech President Guy Bailey at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday and then expected to meet with Chancellor Kent Hance shortly after.

1999-Present: Head coach at Auburn. Led Auburn to the most wins in school history (13), the Sugar Bowl title and its first SEC Championship since 1989 during the 2005 season. Led Auburn to five SEC Western Division titles and eight consecutive bowl appearances from 2000-07.
1995-98: Head coach at University of Mississippi where he compiled a 25-20 record in four years after inheriting a program under serious NCAA scholarship sanctions. Named AP SEC Coach of the Year in 1997.
1994: Defensive Coordinator at Texas A&M where the Aggies finished with a 10-0-1 mark and were among national defensive leaders.
1986-93: Various capacities on defensive staff at University of Miami from graduate assistant to defensive coordinator (1993). The Hurricanes were 87-9, including a 55-0 mark at home, and won three national titles during his tenure there.
1980-84: Coached defensive ends and linebackers at Arkansas State University where the Indians advanced to the Division 1-AA Playoffs in 1984.
1978-79: Head Coach at Hermitage (Ark.) High School where he posted an 11-9 mark and first winning season in school history.
