The bipartisan deal to keep the U.S. from defaulting has passed the House and now goes to the Senate. Still, many house members were against the compromise. Congressman Randy Neugebauer voted against the bill.

Just before 2 p.m. Sunday, the Lubbock office of DPS was asked by a DPS Trooper from the Midland District for help with the chase, which was just north of O'Donnell.
