A controversial pet ordinance could be barking at your door step. Tuesday the Animal Advisory Board voted to present City Council with the idea of mandatory spaying and neutering for pets in Lubbock.
A Lubbock County Grand Jury indicted Manuel Martinez, 43, on an intoxicated manslaughter charge Tuesday. Martinez is accused of the death of motorcyclist Rickey Parks, 39.

Family and friends buried Stanley Rodriguez on Saturday instead of celebrating his 35th birthday. His mother, Victoria Benavidez, is walking for justice. She is walking the Canyon Lake System, near where Stanley's body was found, until justice is served.
