Two years later, the Lubbock Police Department is still searching for information and tips into the 2008 homicide of a Lubbock woman. Monica Isabel Adams, 29, was found dead in a field near north MLK and Bradley. A man checking a pump-jack near Martin Luther King Blvd. and East Bradley discovered Adam's body around 9 a.m. August 20th, 2008.

Texas Tech University and Cisco College will enter into a partnership that will offer a Bachelor of General Studies degree at the Cisco home campus and extension campus in Abilene. The announcement was made Friday by the presidents of both institutions.
