Kids aren't normally tested for cholesterol because it's typically a problem seen in adults. However, a report published in the Journal Pediatrics looked at 20,000 fifth graders in West Vrginia. Nearly 30 percent of those kids would never have been tested because they didn't have a family history of heart disease.
