LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD)- A wind chill advisory is in effect until noon for the central and northern South Plains, including Levelland and Lubbock. The very cold air and winds will combine to generate low wind chills which may result in frostbite and lead to hypothermia, if you are not dressed appropriately while outdoors.
This morning's temperatures will be in the teens along with sub-zero wind chills and windy conditions. This afternoon temperatures will remain cold and winds will decrease. Tonight will be very cold, flurries are possible along with cloudy skies.
Friday's conditions will be cold, with flurries possible. Saturday's temperatures are going to remain cold, but skies will be sunny.
