A Lubbock teen remains behind bars on murder charges awaiting arraignment on a $500,000 bond. Renee Valencia, 19, sits in Lubbock County Jail for shooting Zachary Matta just days after his 22nd birthday.
A six-month-old Clovis boy remained hospitalized in Lubbock Tuesday night, after police arrested his mother for child abuse. The child was airlifted to Lubbock last week where doctors performed brain surgery.
