The Slaton Police Chief is now on 90-days probation and on paid administrative leave because of time sheet discrepancies. The Slaton City Manager and City Council voted unanimously on Monday to take action against Police Chief Royce Goodson. Goodson has served the community of Slaton for nearly three years.
